50 gms Rice
1 Litre Milk
1 Litre Water
150 gms Sugar
50 gms Condensed Milk
50 gms Khoya
2 drops Rose Essence
Pinch of Saffron
Dry Nuts (Cashew, Almonds, Pistachios) for garnish
Directions
- Wash and soak rice for 20 minutes. Pound lightly.
- Heat milk and water in a heavy-bottomed pan. Add the soaked rice and cook on low heat until the rice is soft and fully cooked.
- Add sugar and saffron. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring gently.
- Mix in khoya and condensed milk. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes.
- Finally, add rose essence and garnish with chopped dry nuts.
- Serve warm or chilled as desired.
